What is a water dispenser?

A fundamental distinction can be made between three different types of water dispensers. First of all, there are the small home drinks units which have become more and more popular in German households in recent years. A plastic bottle is usually filled with drinking water here and made fizzy in the unit. Furthermore, water coolers are also available on the market. These are devices which usually have a 19 litre plastic gallon container placed on them and can deliver the water which this contains in a cooled format. IONOX focuses exclusively on the third version of a water dispenser, namely the so-called mains-linked drinking water dispenser. These water dispensers are connected to the mains network directly at the point of use. The water is cooled and carbonic acid is added to it if this is desired. This means that the soda water machines with a fixed connection generate the finest freshness and water quality and also the maximum reduction in costs.
